1.2 User Preferences

Purpose: To personalize your experience.

• Preferred fuel type (Gasoline 95, Diesel, etc.)
• Search radius preference
• Language preference (Spanish/English)
• Saved favorite gas stations
• Price alert settings

Storage: All preferences are stored locally on your device using Capacitor Preferences API. This data never leaves your device.

1.3 Cached Data

Purpose: To improve app performance and reduce data usage.

• Gas station information (names, addresses, prices)
• Map tiles
• Recent searches

Storage: Stored locally on your device using IndexedDB. Automatically cleared after expiration (3-7 days).

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

All data collected is used solely to provide and improve the app's functionality:

• Saved Stations: Quick access to your favorite stations
• Alerts: Notify you when prices match your criteria (manual checks only)
• Cache: Faster loading and offline functionality

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

All personal data is stored locally on your device using:

• Capacitor Preferences: For user settings and saved stations
• IndexedDB: For cached gas station data

This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

4.2 Network Requests

The app makes network requests only to:

• Spanish Ministry of Industry API: To fetch official gas price data
  (https://sedeaplicaciones.minetur.gob.es)
• OpenStreetMap/CARTO: To display map tiles
  (https://basemaps.cartocdn.com)

These requests do not include any personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Data Sources

• Spanish Ministry of Industry: Official gas price data (public data)
• OpenStreetMap/CARTO: Map tiles for displaying locations

5.2 Device Capabilities

The app uses the following Capacitor plugins (all data stays on device):

• Geolocation: Access device GPS (with your permission)
• Preferences: Store settings locally
• Local Notifications: Show price alerts (optional)
• Share: Share app with friends via native share dialog
• Network: Check internet connectivity

5.3 No Analytics or Advertising

This app does NOT use:

• Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics
• Advertising networks (AdMob, etc.)
• Crash reporting services
• Any tracking or profiling services

6. Children's Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. The app is designed for general audiences and does not contain age-restricted content.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Location Permissions

• You can grant or deny location access at any time in your device settings
• The app works without location access (you can search manually)

7.2 Data Deletion

• Clear cache: Use "Clear Cache" option in Profile settings
• Delete all data: Uninstall the app from your device
• All locally stored data will be permanently deleted

7.3 Notification Control

• Price alerts are optional and can be disabled in the app
• You can manage notification permissions in device settings

8. Data Retention

• User Preferences: Retained until you clear app data or uninstall
• Cached Station Data: Automatically expires after 3-7 days
• Location Data: Not stored; only used in real-time

9. International Data Transfers

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers. The only external data accessed is public gas price information from the Spanish Ministry of Industry.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Showing an in-app notification for significant changes
